Revoked Driver’s License Reinstatement

Illinois Driver’s License Revoked?

Whatever the reason your driver’s license was revoked, I may be able to help you. Whether you are local or from out of state, I can assist you with any Illinois driver licensing issue. Reinstatement of a revoked driver’s license is not a simple matter. Unlike a suspension, a revocation of your driving privileges lasts indefinitely — your license will not just be reinstated after a certain amount of time. You have to go through the process of earning your privileges back from the Illinois Secretary of State Department of Administrative Hearings. The good news is that it is possible to get your revoked driver’s license back and fully reinstated. I am attorney Alan E. Jones, and I help people in Lake County and throughout the United States achieve license reinstatement through the Illinois Secretary of State. I have been doing this work for more than 30 years, and I can help you achieve your goal. It will not happen overnight, but it is worth taking the time to do it right. Contact me now for a free, confidential consultation about getting your revoked Illinois license reinstated.

Has your license been revoked for life after a 4th DUI conviction? The law has changed. It is now possible to get your lifetime ban lifted. Call (847) 336-3900 to find out how.

It Is Possible to Get Your License Back

The process starts with a free consultation. There, I will need to review with you any and all documentation that you have so I can assess your case, tell you what you need to do to get reinstatement, how much it will cost, and approximately how long it will take.

I will study your “court purposes” driving record to see exactly what offenses led to the revocation. I will study all of your treatment documentation from your alcohol/drug counselors including the evaluation, treatment plan, discharge summary, aftercare plan and the AODA certificate.

I will explain the entire formal and informal hearing process, what a restricted driver’s license is and how it works, and how the BAIID (Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device) program works in Illinois. To prepare you for giving testimony to the Illinois Secretary of State at your hearing, we will meet many times in my office or by phone and I will help you understand the differences between the problematic abuse of alcohol (Level II) and the addiction to alcohol (Level III). I will help you get the letters you need to present to the hearing officer, and I will answer all of your questions.

In the case of a revoked driver’s license for a DUI, you must convince the Illinois Secretary of State that you will be safe on the road. I can help you do that. I also assist people with reinstatement of suspended driver’s licenses.

Free Consultation | Saturday Appointments Available

Many reinstatement clients prefer appointments on Saturdays so that they don’t have to miss work and can get a ride to my office. I can meet that need.

Driver’s license revocation happens to people from all walks of life. What you do about your revocation can make all the difference for your driving record — and for your life. Schedule a free, confidential consultation: Call (847) 336-3900 or contact me online.
